Course Overview:
Students in this class have a love for horses and will learn the basics of equine anatomy, breeds, tack equipment, and how to read horses based on their behavior and stance. Students will also learn the fundamentals and importance of leadership and management, and how they are necessary skills for not only successful living, but for working in the equine industry and society. Each student will have a weekly Equine Breed ID, will go on at least one field trip to learn about agriculture, and have a 20-hour project that takes place outside of class, related to agriculture, called SAE.
