FFA Alumni & Supporters: Plenty of Reasons to Join (and you don't have to be even close to a farmer!)

Picture
Lots of times, people think that you have to be a former FFA member or at least live on a farm to be in the Wakefield FFA Alumni and Supporters.  Not true.  The FFA Alumni and Supporters is simply an organization like the Band Boosters.  They are there to provide support and help the Wakefield Agricultural Education program.  They help to foster relationships in the community that are beneficial in the program.  In addition, the FFA Alumni supports the students and the program by working as the fiscal organization.  They don't raise the plants, they just keep the money and help to make sure the students get the monies for their various activities.  Each year, the FFA Alumni gives $2000 in scholarships to graduating FFA seniors.  To date, the FFA Alumni has give over $10,000 in scholarships and the Benjamins keep on rollin!

To join the FFA Alumni and supporters, simply click below. We encourage you to join and hope that your name will be added to our roster of almost 50 people.
