FFA Alumni Senior Scholarship and Summer Experiences Scholarship

Picture
Senior Scholarships
The senior scholarship is awarded each May at the annual end of year awards banquet.  This is a chance for students enrolled in FFA and Agricultural Education to be rewarded for their hard work the past four years and to wish them good luck in their future endeavors.  Students who fill out the application and are selected for the scholarship can earn between $250 and $500 based on their future pursuits and agricultural commitment.  You don't have to be pursuing an agricultural career, you just have to have shown that you were active as a FFA member and Agricultural Education student at WHS.  Applications are available below and must be submitted by the date shown on the form. Over the past 10 years, over $10,000 has been awarded to FFA students.  Pictured are Corbin Smith and Nicole Ortega, the 2013 winners of the FFA Alumni Senior Scholarship.

 Summer Experience Scholarships
Not a senior? Have a cool agriculturally related summer opportunity and need some cash to help make your dreams come true? Simply fill out the application and follow the directions for the summer experiences. Whether you are going to a horticulture, animal science, biotech camp/workshop/conference, the FFA Alumni at Wakefield wants to help make that happen. Again, money will be awarded in denominations of $250-$500 scholarships and will be given at the annual end of year banquet in May.
