Agricultural Education Honors Projects

What makes Honors, Honors?

It's all about rigor man.
  • These are county wide projects. That means, if you go to Apex or Fuquay Varina or Wake Forest, yep... everyone has the same projects.
  • We focus on leadership, 21st century communication and agricultural literacy skills which apply to today's challenge of feeding 9 billion people in the year 2050.
  • Every class has a unique set of honors projects (between one and three components). These projects reinforce course materials and demand mastery of content.

Animal Science II

This course offers 3 honors projects which increase rigor and reinforce the material obtained in class.  The projects highlight specific fields of the Small Animal/Companion Industry which cause the students to think "out of the box".
