Chapter HistoryThe Wakefield FFA chapter was founded in 2002 by Jodi Riedel. During its early years, Wakefield established a strong agricultural program through Food Science and Horticulture. In 2010, Kelly Foster joined the program to start our Animal Science Department.
Since our beginning, we have grown to over 300 FFA members. We have competed in numerous Career Development Events, traveled across the country for conventions and trainings, and gained recognition on the local, state, and national level. From growing leaders to strengthening agriculture and everything in between, we have been rooted in our mission. We couldn't have done this without our wonderful community of supporters. |
LocationWe are located in Raleigh, North Carolina, just outside of Wake Forest. Our agriculture department is located right beside the middle school.
