Summer Internship Program
The WHS FFA wants to give as many students as possible access to the Summer Internships! Students are eligible to intern for two summers.
Students need to demonstrate an interest in animal agriculture, urban agriculture, permaculture, and/or organic gardening. This position is ideal for someone who has taken horticulture, sustainable agriculture, and/or animal science.
It is preferred that you have people skills, flexibility, problem solving skills, communication skills, and general labor work ethic.
This position requires rigorous work in hot, sunny, insect infested, wildlife infused conditions. Candidates must assume that they will get sweaty and injured at some point. You must dress accordingly, bring water, and can bring sunscreen/bug spray as well.
