This year, I am going to experience premiere display gardens at their finest. In August, I attended the Proven Winners Grand Garden Show at Mackinac Island's Grand Hotel. This was an amazing experience. I was so excited to step back in time. I took my mom, Barb, and my son, Linden. It was an incredible weekend that I will never forget. Gorgeous and so inspirational! I have already incorporated several of the tips and ideas into my own home and classroom.
In May, I am going to the Royal Horticultural Society's Garden Show in London, England. I am taking my son William. I am also going to the world's most premiere Poison Garden at Alwick Castle, south of Scotland and some gardens in Paris, France. This incredible trip will take place in May, 2019.

I must mention that my favorite garden author was the keynote speaker and one of the main reasons why I attended this conference. Amy Stewart is author of the Drunken Botanist and Wicked Plants. She is the reason why I am going to the Poison Garden in Northern England, as well. I'd like to mention that I spoke with her a few times and she personally made her signature lavender cocktails that were delightful!
